so i brought my camera to bonnaroo but i pretty much forgot to take pictures. maybe if the camera wasnt 30 lbs i could have stuck it in my pocket. oh well. for your viewing enjoyment, i present to the midnight society a 11 picture odyssey that was bonnaroo 2005.



these were our tickets. when we got to the entrance after 12 hours of straight driving and 2 and a half hours of waiting in a line in 90+ weather, the guy only counted 3 tickets. after a moment of horrible panic we realized it was stuck to another ticket.



i took this one after mars volta. i was coming down from shrooming and there was this bright ass spotlight shining down through my car windshield. it had been raining on and off all weekend and all the droplets were lit up. taking pictures of things while youre on shrooms is really disappointing. it looked way sweeter at the time.



mud was everywhere. people would just abandon their flip flops in huge mud puddles. i remember at one point laughing uncontrollably cuz i was ankle deep in mud and i couldnt move.



this was our campsite. notice the bitching pirate flag. we felt so bad ass putting it up. until we saw the 4000 other people with bigger flags on actual flag poles (our pole was made from a fly fishing rod, which is another story in itself).



cars. first night we had to navigate this maze of cars that would change i swear. it was really dark and we were drunk. youd think the flag would help. but it didnt cuz it's dark and like only six feet tall. were renting an RV for next year. you get to park RVs really really close to the main part with the stages and the giant mushroom shooting water (centeroo). we were like a good mile and a half away. that walk sucked.
